12th Turn [Voice/Action]
Hey, guys.
[His voice sounded weary but oddly content and calm. For the first time in a long time, he felt like he was starting to understand something.]
I was thinking about something, actually. A couple of somethings. It's getting to be winter and, by my count, there's going to be a few holidays coming up for many of us. I know not all of us celebrates them the same way...but, at the same time, many of us can't celebrate them as we used to. We don't have the same traditions around here, or the same people.
...What I thought I would do was try to arrange a fun get-together in a few weeks for people who just want to relax and have some fun. There won't be any rules or ties to tradition, but there will be people. Tis the season to be with people you like, right?
Right.
[At this point he pauses to throw on a filter, just to tease someone:]
Filtered from Fujiko: 98%
My other thought was to throw a surprise party for my girl. Mine Fujiko, for those who know her. It doesn't need to be anything big or fancy, but I want it to be special. She's been here for a long time.
I'm still trying to figure out how we're doing the food and finding our venue, but I'd love to hear any ideas that you guys have. Cake should be involved here. Seriously. Otherwise, I'm completely open to any idea.
Thanks ahead guys.
Action
[While the sun is still out, Lupin decided to head out into the town to check for some better winter gear in the various shops. He's not picky. Later on he can be found enjoying a hot drink at the bakery before he returns back to his apartment in Community House 1. He is keeping an eye out for both Grell and Gambit during this time.
He needed to rework plans with them.]

Honestly? She won't settle for anything less than Tiffany's.
All of Tiffany's.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
Tough break. I don't envy you.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
[And what woman as feisty as her wasn't?]
I haven't heard you around here before. You just get in?
Voice - Respectfully filtered
Pretty much. Tomorrow will mark a week since I was tossed in here.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
...actually, tomorrow will make it a full year since I dropped in. Funny, how time flies.
It's Lupin. Arsene Lupin III. You have a name?
Voice - Respectfully filtered
[A light, wry chuckle.]
It's Captain Nathan Spencer; nice meeting you, Lupin.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
Nice meeting you too...can I just call you Spencer?
[Because someone else was Captain. He can't use that for anyone else.]
Voice - Respectfully filtered
And, sure.

[Gathering intel is a must, and besides, he could put some points to good use.]
As it is, I won't be able to do much without getting a better picture of what's happening here.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
It's been a while since I took one up myself. Might be good to stretch my legs sometime soon.

Now the guide's a good start... but from the sound of things, circumstances change and very quickly around here. Now maybe I'm missing something as a newbie, but if there aren't ideas flying around on how to keep track of developments and to make these crucial details accessible to everyone barring the Malnosso, there really should be.
[Phew. That's probably the most he's said at once in a while.]
Again, it's easier said than done - I'll be the first guy to admit that.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
I haven't heard anything about there being any structure to keep track of the details, unfortunately. [He'd mention the village-wide locked posts...but that wasn't wise.] But, there are a number of us who do keep tabs on everything that we can. I can name two off hand--three, but that one returned home recently. Pity, we could use the extra heads around here.
[The pity was doubly so. He never got to have a drink with her.]
Maybe we could start something, I dunno. There are a lot of people around here who don't like organizing projects, and we have a history of simply not following through with our plans.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
[A thoughtful pause.]
...Think I know just the person who could be a key player in getting a project like this up off the ground.
[The kind of person he could see himself following the lead of, moreover.]
Voice - Respectfully filtered
[Because Lupin had a few ideas himself...]
I'm also not the sort of guy who would organize this kind of thing, and I'm not used to playing on teams of this scale either. But, information is like gold around here. We've gotta respect it and share it.
...I'll probably take them more frequently myself. Word is that a lot of things are changing outside of our little bubble. Pity that we can't see the full picture yet.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
[In a fellow agent sort of way, of course.]
From what I can tell, she's a bright mind, inquisitive, and no-nonsense. The kind of person who gets the job done. As it is, I told her when we met that I'd give her a heads up if I dug up something useful.
Voice - Respectfully filtered
[She must have joined their population while he was 'away,' but he all ready liked her just by Spencer's description.]
She does sound like she'd be great for this. We need someone who will get people to follow through around here.
By the way, have you met Phil Coulson? He says that he does paperwork for a government organization, but he described it as the CIA and the ICPO rolled into one. He might be helpful in the set up.

Want to head to the bar to chill sometime? We have a few interesting cocktails around here that might be a little hard to find back home.
