1st Turn: [Accidental Voice/Action]
[There is a man in the woods. His hair is a mess, and his clothes are way too plain for his liking. Residents would recognize him as a new feather--he just thinks he had way, way too many drinks the night before.
Somehow he lost his jacket.
And his shoes.
And his composure.
His only clue was that book he found--that annoying book. It wasn't useful at all.
Arsene Lupin III throws that book to the ground, swearing. It lands open, with its pages in the dirt.]
Aagh...this isn't working. [There's a shuffle of pages--he's kicked the book.] Guess I gotta regroup. Eeegh. Woods, Lupin. Think!
Looks like walking north isn't enough. [He starts pacing] And without a map...aa, this is really annoying. [The pacing stops--he has an idea.]
HEY!! IS THERE ANYONE AROUND HERE!? WHAT IS THIS PLACE?!
[Because shouting is such a productive idea...at least he feels a little better.]
Video
He has never been much fond of that high-pitched, nagging tone Lupin could adopt when irritated. It is not unlike a mosquito buzzing in the ear, and- -
Snapping to attention, and feeling his heart kick powerfully against his sternum with a sudden surge of hope and anxiety, he finds himself responding within seconds.]
Lupin…! [Some measure of surprise inevitably leaks into his voice. He hadn't expected to meet him here anytime soon, perhaps on account of Jigen's disappearance some time ago - but if there is anything his stay in Luceti has only affirmed, it is that the only constant in life was unpredictability.]
Voice
I've gotta be a madman for even thinking this...
[Clearly being alone for a day without the benefits of civilization had gotten to him. He could do fine withouth electricity, without TV, but being without people was a different story. He liked to talk, and talking to himself wasn't nearly as fun or interesting as talking with someone else. Even a certain taciturn ronin, whose silences had long since become more comfortable instead of awkward.
He flips it over, tentatively, as if it were electrified and the slightest touch would send a jolt through his nerves.]
Is that you, Goemon?
Video
…So you are here too. [He remarks musingly after a moment, considering how he feels about this new development. On one hand, he is admittedly a little thrilled – or as thrilled as a phlegmatic-faced samurai will let on, at least – for with Lupin’s arrival came the answer to his burgeoning restlessness; or so it seemed. Barring the occasional bizarre and/or chaotic shifts the Malnosso introduced, life in Luceti was a little too slow and sedate for him, if such a thing were possible. Finding respite from the helter-skelter nature of his profession back home and the tedium of cutting worthless objects and chasing after meaningless rocks had been pleasant... But after months of being unable to travel beyond the barrier, after months of seeking to apply the skills he honed through his training in a challenging, worthwhile endeavour not unlike 'old times', peace began to wear on him. It was his intention to eventually settle down when he had had his fill of larceny and daring trials, but for now, he feels that there was still much left to explore and to do and to learn, and from Lupin himself. There is so much more life to be lived while the fiery blood of twelve generations of Ishikawa Goemons flows through his veins.
But, on the other hand, Lupin's appearance means that he was now in Malnosso captivity like the rest of them, and soon to be subjected to their cruel whims.]
Voice
[There was no mistaking that solemn tone, the ability to induce such meaning from so few words. Lupin III, grinning widely, pulled that damn book into a bear hug.
Even a silence with presence was better than silence characterized by emptiness.]
Oh my God, Goemon, you wouldn't believe how happy I am to hear you right now. I don't know how this thing works, or if I've really gone off the deep end, or if I really did drink too much tequila last night, but my GOD have I missed you!
[If the man were standing before him, he would have leapt on his friend in an overjoyed tackle. And hugged him, regardless of any complaint that would have come.
Instead, he held the book out before him in outstretched arms, and started pacing as he spoke. Lupin realized he probably looked like a madman. He didn't care.]
Goemon...Goemon. Where's the nearest road? And people? I'm pretty cold here, I lost my hand made Italian leather shoes--they had soft soles, for sneaking, so I'm pretty pissed about that-- and I don't have my jacket. I don't feel right with out it.
And Goemon. Do you know anything about any itty bitty annoying wings?
no subject
It was difficult being thrust into a foreign environment, and in a situation that seemed all but logical.]
All who arrive here find themselves with wings. [He explains, patiently.] The pain will pass in a few days’ time. However, I suggest that you are careful with them for they are now a part of you, and are deeply connected with your overall well-being. A man can be killed if he sustains a grave enough injury to his wings.
[As for locating Lupin...] If you cannot see a path, I suspect you are in the woods. I will look for you.
no subject
Those words sound crazy, Goemon, but I trust you. A nasty hangover makes more sense, but even the worst one never made me feel like I was hit by a truck. At least, I feel better now than I did earlier...
Hey. I've been walking north for a while. [Lupin paused, trying to orient himself. He figured he should provide a little help to Goemon, even if it wouldn't be all that useful.] At least, I think I've been walking north. It's hard to say with all these trees...

[Action] 1/2
This cold, November day however, is something entirely different. As he walks, he hears a voice. A familiar voice. Not just any voice. That guy's voice.]
No...way...
[Action] 2/2
Zenigata bursts through into the clearing where he heard the voice, and stops within inches of his "nemesis"]
L...Lupin? Is that really you? Holy crap, it really is...
Action
He stood, and briefly paused to force his mussed hair back into some manner of order, He knew it would be futile; he didn't care. Appearances were important too, if only for his own sake.]
Wow, hey Pops! [He gave the inspector a cocky grin.] You know, this really is a good time for you to be here, unlike how this normally works.
[He paused a beat.] You're gonna arrest me now, aren't you?
Action
It...it really IS you! AHAHA, this is...well...this is nuts! Of all the times I could've gotten you alone, beat up, and disoriented it'd be here in this shithole.
[The cop wipes back a tear of laughter and tosses Lupin a pack of cigarettes from in his voluminous coat. He rarely smoked anymore, but figured the thief was gonna need them]
You're gonna need these, this place is pretty screwy.
[Pause]
And no, I'm not going to arrest you. No reason to. You aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
Re: Action
It must be pretty screwy if you're not arresting me, Pops.
[Those hands were unable to keep still for any longer. He tapped out a cigarette, acting on old habits rather than on conscious thought. He couldn't help but frown a little as he considered Zenigata's words.]
And I dunno if I should thank you or not. What is this place? What do you mean I'm 'not going anywhere?'
[He paused, holding that cigarette between his lips.]
Pops. Does this have anything to do with the fact that I haven't heard a car all day?
[He didn't ask the obvious. There was no point.]
Action
This place is called Luceti. Gonna sound really weird, but we aren't on Earth anymore, and we're trapped in some funky barrier. Like, trapped and can't get out. Period. Can't fly out of it, can't dig under it, can't go through it. A lot of people with all kinds of crazy super-powers live here, and they can't get out either. We're both stuck here. Period.
[There is an air of finality to Zenigata's last word. He's as serious about that as he is about not arresting Lupin. What a screwy world...]

[Action] Here, have a cute girl who is as disoriented as you <3
While she's doing that though, a familiar voice reaches her ears. Following the source of said voice, it takes Murasaki a while to really recognize Lupin. Thank that to his messy hair and those completely non-familiar clothes he's wearing.
But, upon looking at his face, there's no mistake. He just seems a tad bit older from what she remembers, but that's not really the issue.
Still, she approaches him a little bit uneasy. If Goemon didn't remember her, maybe Lupin didn't too?]
E-excuse me? [She calls him from not too far, kind of hoping for a more 'positive' answer from him compared to the one she got from Goemon a day or two ago.]
Action -- you just couldn't wait, now could you? :P
Murasaki?
[Her clothes were different. Then again, he had only ever seen her in her wedding attire and the clothes he lent her (thank god for the occassional need to impersonate a woman!). Her hair was down, the familiar butterfly pin was missing, but the sweetness in her eyes was the same.
He dove at her, and pulled her into a bear hug.]
MURASAKI!!! [He spins them around.] Wow, I didn't expect to see you here. It's been a while! How have you been? What are you doing here? Do you know anything about this place?
[Action] I AM SO VERY SORRY FOR MY LACK OF SELF CONTROL
And it's actually great to be hugged and smiled at like that, in such an unknown place. Murasaki can't help but smile widely at Lupin.]
I-I've been really good Lupin-san! [Despite being sucked into this place and Goemon not remembering her...]
Well... I'm not sure why I'm here, but I can't really tell you much about this place... I got here a day ago or so, so I'm still a little bit confused. [She's still smiling at him though.]
Action-- DON'T APOLOGIZE!
He sighed.]
You and me both then, Murasaki. [He pulled away, and kept his hands to himself--she was Goemon's girl, and by far the best relationship he has ever seen the man in, despite the way it 'ended.' Lupin never really believed it was over, but was wise enough not to press the issue with the ronin.]
Anyway, you've been here for a day? So have I, so that doesn't matter for much. [His smile brightened as an idea occurred to him. Hell, why not?] Hey, maybe we could work together to figure this place out!
[Action] Tra-la-la... taking FOREVER
All I know is that... Not only we are here, but Goemon and Zenigata are here as well. [Even if Goeface didn't seem to remember her at all...]
I'm not sure how we are going to figure this place out... But we'll try! [She gave him a smile. With both him and Zenigata recognizing her, she felt more comfortable and not as weary as she was before.]
[Action] Don't fret over it.
He followed up with a face of serious but comical determination, and pumped his fist into the air.] With your brain and my brain combined, we can do this!

Lupin?? [Likewise have an unmistakably unforgettable feminine voice.]
Voice/Action
F-Fujiko? Is that you?
Voice/Action 1/2
Where are you? Did you just get here? [Starts off sounding a little fond and just mystified that he's actually here and she's not dreaming it or something.]
Voice/Action 2/3 turns out I can't count shhhh
Damn it Lupin! DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT'S BE-- [Cuts off. She promised herself she wasn't going to do that.]
Voice/Action 3/3 done
Who else would it be? [Yeah. Because she obviously doesn't care that you're here after a year and a half of looking and trying not to wait. Nope, not at all.]
Voice/Action
He clapped a hand to his face, feeling more than a little crazy.]
Heh. You don't change, do you Fujiko-chan? I wake up in a wierd place feeling like I've been hit by a truck, with nothing but a book, clothes that aren't mine, and these itty bitty annoying wings. I don't have my gun, my shoes, my phone, or my jacket, and I'm still getting yelled at for being late.
Late for what, Fujiko? I'm in the woods, and have been here long enough to be be cold and get over a hangover. Do you know something I don't?
Voice/Action
Except the usual. And the obvious. And I always know more than you. Well, half of the time. But you are late. REALLY late.
Che... where are you? In the forest? Anywhere near the river or something? Do you see buildings?
