13th Turn [Action/Written]
[It was cold.
That was his first thought when he woke up in the woods surrounding the Barracks, literally sprawled out in the trees. The cold air bit into his bare hands, stung his ears and his cheeks, and made him miss the summery heat and exotic beaches that were starting to disappear back into his subconscious. This wasn’t the tropics; this was Luceti.
Sleep never looked more welcoming.
It was only when Lupin started to move that he noticed that something important in the world was terribly off. The branches were too big—and where was his coat? The coat was important, and he didn't care about what the Malnosso thought...
He stared at his hand, dumbfounded, when he caught sight of it. Seconds later he yelped in sheer shock and tumbled from the tree and into the snow.

...someone was going to pay for this own.
Chirping and chattering in irritation, Lupin pulled himself from the snow. Anyone care to give a monkey a hand?]
[Later that evening, after he has been returned to his apartment with both himself and his journal intact, Lupin scrawled out a message for the village at large:]

Lucky you, Luceti. Looks like I’m not gone yet.
What's the date? I thought they were going to let me spend the winter in Rio, so I wasn't expecting snow.
Did I miss anything?
-Lupin III
[He snaps the book shut at this. Goddamn he needed a drink. And a smoke. Not that he was going to get either soon--because he was a good monkey, and good monkeys don't smoke.]

He hated the idea of it, but he needed to use her for a bit.
Lupin nodded at her question and fell backwards in the snow. He reached his thin arms up toward her, playing up the image of a 'cute monkey.'
Can you take me somewhere?
The words were only a soft monkey chatter, but he could work with that. For now.]
[Action]
Aww... you're actually pretty cute you know... Where did you even come from?
[Action]
He had no answer. For all he knew, the Malnosso probably did drop him in.]
[Action]
The sky? So you were just dropped into a tree?
[She paused to consider him for a moment, wondering if she even could take care of a monkey on her own, when her roommate was taking care of her half the time.]
Do you have any place to stay here little guy? I... would take you home with me, but I'm not sure what Chun-Li would think if I showed up with you.
[Action]
and he would never hear the end of this.
Lupin flailed and flung himself bodily at her, so he could cling to her neck. No, not Chun-Li!]
[Action] 1/2
O-Okay... don't worry, I won't take you home with me... but do you have any place to stay?
[Action] 2/2
[She tenderly pet his head, hugging him to her chest and rocking him gently, trying to soothe him down in case she'd accidentally agitated him. She remembered reading somewhere that monkeys were a bit like small children or infants, so she thought perhaps treating him like one might help calm him.]
[Action] ROFL
If anyone in town would find out, she was among those who would find a way. He realized this...and knew that there were few others in the village that he wanted to ask for assistance.
Lupin pushed himself away so he could look squarely at the young girl and nodded firmly. Yes, he was ready. He wriggled out of her grasp and climbed onto her shoulder with the grace that only a monkey had and pointed in the direction of the community buildings.
Let's go find her!]
