11th Turn [Written/Action]
Luceti.
Two things:
1. Whoever it was that found my work shop, return the pieces that you stole before the end of the day. I’ll be in the Barracks. If you fail to comply, I will find you.
It won’t be pretty.
2. What do the rest of you think about the last Shift? Was it good or bad? How did the loss of memory affect you? Do you think it left any long-term impact for yourself, your friends, and the rest of your stay in this village?
-Also. Prism Black. You deserve to be commended for your heroism. Never forget that.
Filtered to Trafalgar Law: Unhackable
I have a problem and I’d like a second opinion on it. It’s not big, but it could become complicated.
-I’d promise coffee, but I have an unrelated problem with getting it. I’ll be in the barracks.
[True to his word, Lupin will be in the barracks all day. His encounter with Spock on Monday, combined with his activities from earlier in the week had finally caught up to him. Fatigue was inevitable. He had spent the better part of the last few days asleep, never very far from his new charge. The veritable plague of crows that had been set upon him by an angered god was an unnecessary incentive. He kept the windows shut, locked away the gnawing need for a cigarette that bit at the back of his mind, and tried to ignore the judgement he saw reflected in the eyes of his avian watchmen—but he would have stayed close to the barracks regardless of their looming (and aggravating) presence.
While the days spent between dreams and fleeting considerations over recent affairs had rejuvenated him, it didn't stop the inherent restlessness that was his constant foe—the core problem that would never entirely leave. The people who knew him would be able to identify the briskness of his step and the cool control with which he held every action and every word. He was distracted by a new project , one that was completely foreign to him, and was unwilling to divulge details until the proper time came.
The thief had returned to work, but nothing was as it seemed.]
((ooc: Thread with Spock is chronologically last.))

[It was a very baseline world on the brink of the 21st Century, with the relevant technology and views. Anything that was advertised as being 'magic' or 'psychic' was easy enough to replicate and thus prove false. He had himself replicated a magician who walked on air and shot fire from his fingertips. Nessie existed, but she as an animal.
She was wholly different from any magical or psychic phenonmena
Lupin looked down at their linked hands, curious about what this meant for the future. They were separated from the cars of his world and the ever familiar Autobahn, but this could be as intriguing as his association with the Jedi.]

[A link in this context is a mental connection that is usually established between Vulcans of similar minds. There are several categories of 'bonds' that includes family, very close friends and between mates.....
What seems to have happened here is the result of a high stress situation and no mental shielding on my part. Though that should not have had been of any consequence. Links to not 'spontaneously' occur like this. It would seem that our minds are compatible, and during that episode in the Dome our minds called out to each other...
To what degree our minds have been linked is what I will have to further look in to. I have yet to meditate and find out for certain what it is we are dealing with. Though what is for certain is that a link does exist, and we will have to learn to deal with it on some level.
[Spock looks away for a moment, clearly embarrassed, he has never had to deal with a situation like this before...]

There was a commonality that he noticed, that was likely a factor in their spontaneous link. They were both highly intelligent in their own field. That intelligence was simply channeled in a wholly different manner.
Lupin squeezed Spock's hand, noting for once the odd variation in their baseline body temperature. It was a difference that he never considered before. He looked up at Spock's face, studying it for any subtleties that he might otherwise miss. Body language spoke with far more truth than words.]
I understand. This means that we have accidentally become very important factors in each other's lives. We can deal with it, the same way that we deal with everything else.
[With information, plans, and plenty of creativity.]

Agreed... and I would suggest that we start with some form of meditation. This does not need to happen immediately for you. Though for myself I would rather it sooner than later. You must be stifled having spent so much time in this building. I will understand if you need some space now.
[Spock is still green, and still not looking at Arsene...]

doesn't matter. the birds are out to annoy me.
Scared ya away eh? XD *giggles*
Birds? [Spock quirks an eyebrow] What does avian fowl have to do with this situation?
because you're *evil*!
The crows. They're a reminder to not piss off a god.
Come now, 'evil' is such a strong word. XDDD *cackles*
Be that as it may, are you in any immediate danger? Or in any need of assistance?
[Spock is somewhat concerned, he has hand encounters with 'god-like' beings during his travels, they can be quite intimidating.]
no subject
No danger. It's just an annoyance. Stop worrying.
*giggles* You've got Spock on a leash! XD
Very well... though I am curious, is it not a part of a friendship to 'worry' about the well-being of the other? Maybe...I am presuming too much?
ffffff XD
Worrying is fine, but there are limits. There is worry, and then there is channeling that into a more constructive form. Words don't do much without some kind of action to follow it up.
Yeah, you laugh now! XD lol
If you do not have any more inquiries, I am going to prepare for meditation.
rofl~
Lupin wasn't certain how to process this.]
Take your time, but keep me apprised of any new developments. I'm going on a trip to the beach this weekend, and it will be a great time to think about all of this.
We could also see if distance really does have an effect. Again, we need to keep each other informed.
I wonder what fujiko thinks of this relationship?
Very well, I am amenable to this cooperation and I will most certainly keep you informed of any revelations.
Though I do have one request...
Will you see me before you embark on your trip?
According to CC, ooc: 'as long as you didn't reveal anything important, it's your problem!'
All right. Is there a reason why?
hmm.... she needs to watch out for her boyfriend. XDD *cackles*
When would it be convenient to meet you?
ffffffffff
Friday morning. Here. That's when I'm heading out.
You don't have to give me a gift. Certain items are hard to come by around here,[like the .9 millimeter slugs he loads into his Walther P-38,] but I have a feeling that you'll insist.
Re: ffffffffff
Indeed.
[He turns towards the door...]
Till then [...and leaves.]
