8th Turn [Audio/Action for Cloud Nine]
[Almost a month ago Ginia returned home, leaving the fine establishment of Cloud Nine without an owner and lead musician. Archie Kennedy and Adele Leblanc took over the roles grandly, but a debacle two weeks earlier involving a misplaced challenge and a confused new feather left Arsene Lupin III as a haphazard source of entertainment. The thief wasn't a musician by trade, and a mission had not gotten him his preferred instrument but one of similar make and deeper tone, but he was trying. No one could fault him for that. If patrons noticed the style of music take a turn toward classic rock, jazz, or old standards, it's his fault entirely.
Although Lupin was busy working on other projects, he remembered that the love of his life, Mine Fujiko had expressed a desire to sing on stage in passing. With Ginia there, she hadn't wanted to bother. An opportunist at heart, Lupin tasked himself with convincing her to step out on stage, just once, and sing with all of her heart. She wooed Nessie once with that voice of hers. Perhaps she could woo the audience too.
He knew he had to tread carefully. Fujiko's best skill, besides grifting and shooting, was betraying. It was entirely possible that she would steal his audience.]
[Dressed in a black suit jacket instead of the green he was wearing for the last few weeks, Lupin steps out onto the stage with a broad but cordial grin on his face. This was a show, and he was a showman at heart.]
Ladies and Gentleman of Luceti. Tonight, Cloud Nine is presenting you with a treat tonight. She's not new to the trade, but she is new to this venue. Please, can we have a warm round of applause for the talented and lovely Mine Fujiko!
[He's wearing black. She's wearing blue. His heart a flutter, Lupin reaches for his viola and starts to play.
When the timing is right, she sings. It's a lovely, heartfelt tone and a rendition of a classic that they both knew by heart.
Unbeknownst to Fujiko, Lupin has his journal tucked out of sight set to audio record the performance. It was proof for posterity, and a window for the rest of the village.
Enjoy, Luceti.]
((OOC: This is a Joint Post. We have no set order, but expect thread jackings from either of us, especially for action tags. Embrace it. You know you love it.))

Quietly, Luke took a seat and listened, and when the set was finished he stood and clapped loudly, grinning]
Wonderful!. Thats the best performance I've seen since Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes played in Coronet City!
[Action]
Thanks, Luke. That's high praise for a couple of amateurs!
[Action]
Speak for yourself~ I've done this before.
[She winks and bows to Luke, despite her own butterflies and nerves about the whole thing. No problem with faking it.] Why thank you kind sir~ I'm sure those aliens were very good at what they do.
[Action]
[The Modal Nodes don't even have a vocalist...]
You aren't an amateur, I'm sure you could be a professional if you wanted to! And Lupin, whatever instrument that is, it sounds fantastic.

Glad for the break she settles back after her set and listens. Watches Lupin and Fujiko on stage with a small, fond smile across her lips. They really were suited for one another, and seeing them like this? It shows.
When the song's over and done she applauds from her seat, happy to have been present tonight.]
That was beautiful Madame Fujiko.
[Action]
[There's a genuine and slight blush to that. She was terrified of being rusty. Or even worse; what flashbacks or half-buried memories of Poon might come with it. Still, it was actually quite gratifying to know she was doing pretty well.]
[Action]
[With the talent she has? Fujiko would be more than welcome to join the setlist whenever she wished.]

Badass.]
Hey, Double-Oh, sounds great! Do you take requests?
[Voice]
[Lupin slips off stage with his journal so that Fujiko doesn't notice. Yet.]
That depends on the request and the mood of my singer, honestly. She's a strangely shy lady when it comes to these things.

[audio] a little late to the party here...
She has a wonderful voice, it wouldn't be that girlfriend of yours, would it?
[audio] Nah, it's fine. Lots of people are busy this weekend.
The song was her choice, honestly, though I admit to also being a sucker for those films. It's nice knowing that at least some things trancend the boundary between worlds.
Who would have thought that James Bond was universal on most versions of Earth?
[audio] yeah, holiday weekend here, no clue what's going on with everyone else except well, summer
Who wouldn't like exciting films about a handsome spy? It appeals to both genders easily, 'women want him, men want to be him', right?

By the time he gets to the Cloud Nine, it's probably somewhere near the end of her performance, but he'll clap and cheer nonetheless when it's over.]
ENCORE!!! ENCORE!!! [Despite the fact that he is way in the back, his voice can probably be heard even over the sounds of clapping. Luffy be loud.]

We can do an encore. What do you say, Fujiko-chan? Shall we?
