[Spock was nodding and putting on his black gloves as Lupin was providing information....

Until he said the names of the Jedi...

This obviously caused pain for Lupin...and his obvious concern did not go unnoticed.
So Spock did the only 'human' think he could think of... he gave Arsene a quick hug.]

Thank you for your concern Sa-kai. I realize that this is difficult for you as well.

I'll be fine on this end. Something always happens on this side during a draft. Last winter it was a blizzard. June...was the rainstorm, and our infiltration op.

[He was blustering, he knew. He was agitated and tired and didn't want his friends to be hurt. After June, he didn't trust the Malnosso for anything. They promised an ultimatum...

It was a healthy dose of paranoia, one that was shared throughout the village if people started talking about the subject. It would always tinge his actions in Luceti as long as they had no say in their own fate.

He sighed, and returned the hug.]

I'll manage on my end even if your shields go down. Don't worry about everyone else, and don't be a hero. Just take care of yourself.

He offered the classic salute, the one he remembered from the television series. It had a name, he knew. He just didn't remember]
