"It sounds like a case of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo so far to me, to be honest, or something very similar. In which the workings of the inner ear are mucked up - yet, unlike other disorders and injuries that effect the vestibular system, there's no hearing loss. Just vertigo, a loss of balance, and everything that comes with that... like nausea."

Except in this case there is no debris in the inner ear canals to disrupt fluid flow. Death Penalties were idiopathic and incurable, save for John.

"There are two tests to confirm such a diagnosis," the roll test and the Dix-Hallpike test, "But based on what I've observed by watching you moving, I don't think they'll be necessary." Vertigo observed with the full range of movement. The tests would tell him nothing new.
