That sounds like a great idea, with everything that happened it wouldn't be strange if people overlooked something back then. Coming back to investigate more at the place may bring up something important. Everything tends to have a different light on it when looking back at it, after all.

[With enough time, something that caused pain and sadness may be seen as something that, even if sad, was necessary and brought better things around. The wars that were oh-so-important and in which people died for their nations are proved to have been nothing but tragedies and acts of foolishness. The music, the art that once was laughed at is seen as the work of a genius.]

Even if nothing comes up this time it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep investigating it from time to time. After all, that man was hiding there, it probably won't be easy but something may be found eventually.
