[Lupin arrives in his usual get up, and smokes and swings as he waits for Luke to arrive. The seriousness of Luke's tone, the strange location and request, had him even more curious about his neighbor below.]

[Luke arrives a few minutes later]

You're welcome, it was nothing.

[The stern air is still there, even in person. It isn't lightly that Lupin broaches it.] ...What's up?

I'm going to assume that you've met my father, correct?

I did, on his first day in. Stiff, stern, not subtle at all but decidedly not Sith-y. What about it?

He doesn't know. He's from a timeline before he even knew Padme was pregnant.

I...am planning on explaining what happens.

[That explained things, but Luke's course of action...]

That could be pretty risky there, Luke. [But pretty necessary. As Donatello and Leonardo proved to him, there were people in Luceti that were familiar with all six of the films and likely beyond. The entire set up was a recipe for disaster.]

It could be. But wouldn't it be better coming from me than, say, that child Katie? Or Ms. Summers? Or Force forbid Jack Sparrow?

Without Palpatine around, its possible we can even prevent his fall from happening.

[He cuts himself off, accepting the clip.] I've been looking all over for this, and I was even thinking about doing a few missions to get a few more and--

[He's jabbering. Deep breath. He pockets the clip and collects himself once again.]

Thanks, Luke. Seriously. This is kind of an old gun even where I'm from and, though I know I should upgrade to a newer model, I'm pretty attached to it. Hopefully I won't need to use it--

I make no guarantees if things get nasty down there, though. Force sensitive or no, there's always a moment of distraction to take advantage of if you wait long enough. Especially if he's angry. Emotional outbursts ruin focus.

You'd be surprised what you'll find if you dig around long enough.

And...I don't think it'll be necessary, Anakin still can't sense the Force completely yet, like Obi-Wan didn't at first.

[He had been digging, but was a distractable idiot at the worst of times, which is becoming more and more frequent in Luceti. Distraction gets him nowhere. At least, with this, he has something important to focus on.]

I'm still your neighbor, and one without magic or an awesome sword. It'll make me feel better, even if Anakin doens't have his full abilities...

which makes no sense, seeing how you were scaring Jack and I with turkeys a week off of Thanksgiving, and we both came in that cycle.

Well, perhaps my connection to the Force is different? Or stronger? I don't really know.
