In seriousness, though? The difference shows. I mean, aside from the scars. Those must have been some vicious battles, seeing how kicks do nothing to you.
Also--I was starting to look for a replacement. Cute gal, though she might kill me worse than you would.

Hm... The world itself has changed a lot in the last two years since Marineford. Pirates have gotten more vicious, trying to keep up with the likes of Blackbeard and Akainu.
Replacement? Oh for teaching? Do you mean Detective Chun-Li?

Oh, you met Li already? Shouldn't be surprised. She's friendly enough that I'm a little concerned about a brigade of lawdogs messing up my plans around here.
Course, I'd give 'em a run for their money. Sounds like your pirates though...heh. They're not playing games, are they?

I don't know about that Lupin... Much as I hate to admit it, you're too nice for this lot.
[Snorts and lights up a fresh pair of cigars as he finishes his stretches.] It's a new breed out there now. One man decided he could inflate his bounty by targeting marines specifically and finding brutal ways to murder them, like burying them alive while praying for their sins. [Shakes his head.] Another pirate became a shichibukai by sending in one-hundred hearts of other pirates. G5's men are wild, but they're backlashing against the wave of psychotic pirates. [Moves the sunglasses up to rub his temples. He doesn't really need them in the dark anyway.] And then there's Akainu and Blackbeard... even Big Mam's gotten more ruthless now without Whitebeard to balance things out.
Just hope you don't have to meet them.

Eh. It is what it is, though. Ikki and I nevere had reason to talk before, and you should know as well as anyone that Grune-chan is no liar. You, her, and Ginia all work in the open, though, which is probably why you all are so well liked. Not that I'm jealous--
Just wondering if I should, say tell Pops when I'm doing something for him is all. Starting to get a little tired of all this.

I've got some punching bags still set up up from when Kirimi got that far, but for now, practice the movements before we'll try hitting something solid.
